Gear is unlocked in the Capsule of Kaos by creating the correct transmutation recipes. 

Gear can be burned for Burn Points, which rank you on the Item Burn Leaderboard and Collection Burn Leaderboard.

Prizes for these Leaderboards include Season Points that boost your position in the overall Season Leaderboard.
